"Can I draw your OC?" has got to be one of the silliest questions I’ve ever heard.

I mean, OF COURSE you can draw them! Here, let me throw all my headcanons at you about every miniscule thing about their appearance and flail at you about how excited I am to see them drawn in your style. Don’t worry, I’ve already forwarded a ten page write up about their back story and personality to your inbox. You know, just in case you need it.

I remember watching the behind the scenes on this show. The creator of the show said that they got so much fan mail saying this show was the most realistic hospital show.

My parents both worked in the medical profession my whole life, and when I was watching them come home, I could see echoes of what this show did. All other medical shows were so much about the drama. This one nailed it. It nailed the good, the bad, and everything in between.

Also, I read that Scrubs was more medically accurate than House, Grey’s Anatomy, and every other medical show on TV

avatar’s most powerful scenes → the blue spirit

"Do you think we could have been friends too?"

I still don’t understand how this show can have scenes as deep and layered as this, or have stuff like Zuko’s character arc and Sokka’s slow appreciation of how badass women can be, and then be all like “I AM NOT TOPH I AM MELON LOOORRRRD!”

good writing is how

Cuz thats how real life is, too :)

I have a few copies of “Playboy” from the 1970s stashed away somewhere. One of them has a letter where a guy writes in saying, “I met this really gorgeous, sweet woman, and we were planning to get married, but she sat me down yesterday and told me that she had a sex change before she met me. Mr. Hefner, should I marry someone who used to be a man?” and the response was, “So she had a sex change, big whoop. Would you be asking this question if she’d made any other change in her life before she met you? You love the woman she is now, and that’s all that should matter. If you want kids you can adopt or something.”

I feel so conflicted right now

That awkward moment when Hugh Hefner is more trans-positive than most feminists of the same era.

"What happened?"
"Some thirty year old dude kept harassing my twelve year old sister. He’d wait outside her school and invite her to parties. So I tried to kill him."
